Contra Dance Tour - Special Wellington Dance!Ron and Cathy Arps are returning with a contra tour group from the USA, and will be running contra dances as they travel around the country. Watch the Chilli Jam website for more details of the Wellington dance. Also... Contra Dance Weekend in HokitikaThese enthusiastic contra dancers and musicians from the USA will converge on Hokitika and run a special weekend. Two evening contra dances with local NZ musicians and the tour group musicians, workshops on dance and music. Details here. Mainland TourThe contra dance tour from the USA will be running contra dances as they travel around the country. Monthly Contra Dancewith band Chilli Jam, called by the fabulous Cashy Yates REGULAR DANCES ONCE A MONTH - WATCH HERE FOR 2012 DATES!Where: St. Michael's Church Hall in Kelburn (corner of Upland Road and St. Michael's Crescent). Cost: $15.00 adults/waged, $10.00 unwaged, $5.00 school children, $25 family; contribution for shared supper. Season tickets also available. Band Chilli Jam will provide live music with fiddle, flute, guitar, mandolin, banjo, bass, accordion and hammered dulcimer.
